The core principle of ImgTextEditor is Local First. All document processing, including:

- AI-powered background reconstruction (LaMa model)
- OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
- Document editing and export (PDF, PPTX, Images)
happens entirely on your Mac. No document data is ever uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud services.
3. Data Collection
ImgTextEditor does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from the application.
- No Document Data: We never see the files you open, edit, or export.
- No Usage Analytics: The app does not track your feature usage or behavior.
- No Personal Info: We do not require an account or registration to use the application.
4. Support Requests
If you choose to contact us via the support form on our website, we collect the information you provide:
- Full Name and Email Address (to respond to your inquiry)
- Subject and Message content
- Optional attachments/screenshots provided by you
This information is used strictly for providing technical support and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. StoreKit and Licensing
Transaction processing for the Full Version is handled securely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not have access to your credit card details or billing information. We only receive notification of successful purchases to unlock features in the app.
6. Third-Party Services
The app bundles professional libraries (such as OpenCV and Python-based tools) for local execution. These libraries do not connect to the internet during operation.
